An Indian-origin woman from New Zealand died after falling 10 metres from the roof of a hotel during a terrace party in Istanbul, Turkey, a media report has said.

Keshia Handa (31) fell to her death on September 19 when a makeshift bridge connecting Grand Hotel de Londres with an adjacent apartment in Istanbul’s central Beyoglu district collapsed as soon as she stepped on it, Indian Weekender reported on Monday, citing Hurriyet Daily News. Handa worked in Australia’s Brisbane city and would often travel the world to participate in dance parties, according to her friends.

On September 16, she had checked into the hotel with two other friends to participate in the salsa party attended by 200 guests.
