BJP State General Secretary Tarun Chugh along with leaders BJP workers started conducting surprise raids in few schools of the Central constituency and was shocked to see the quality and conditions in which food is served.
Out of four schools checked, the conditions were worse at the Government girl’s school on the Chabhal Road. The water was totally unhygienic and algae and insects were seen on it.

Insects were all over the wheat and water posing serious threat to kids. The school children even came forward and told us about the poor handling of mid day meal schemes, claimed the state BJP General Secretary.
He further mentioned that the matter will be brought into the notice of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and also it will taken with the District Administration for stern action against responsible.
