Man held for bid to rape minor girl
The police have arrested a man for allegedly attempting to rape a minor girl employed as a maid at his house in Kotshamir town near here. Based on a complaint by 15-year-old girl, a resident of Kotshamir, accused Neelu from the same town, has been arrested under section 376 and 511 IPC.

The police have arrested a man for allegedly attempting to rape a minor girl employed as a maid at his house in Kotshamir town near here. Based on a complaint by 15-year-old girl, a resident of Kotshamir, accused Neelu from the same town, has been arrested under section 376 and 511 IPC.
The complainant alleged that she was employed by the accused at his house as a maid a few days ago in place of her sister and, on Thursday, he took her inside a room in the house and asked her to strip off her clothes and started having drinks. She, somehow managed to escape from the place, as the man got busy in drinking for a while.
