Man, woman arrested for immoral trafficking

The police have arrested a man and a woman and booked another woman for allegedly indulging in immoral trafficking and running a sex racket. Based on a tip-off, a police party raided a house in Model Town (Phase I) and arrested the duo.

The arrested man has been identified as Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Barnala district.Investigating officer ASI Partap Singh said that they had got information that one of the accused women, who lives in the house along with others, was allegedly running a sex racket.

A case under immoral trafficking Act has been registered against all the three.
