Manpreet Badal suffering from wilful amnesia, says SAD
Targeting Congress leader Manpreet Badal for his statement on Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh, SAD secretary and spokesman Daljit Singh Cheema said Manpreet had first “misled” Punjabis by swearing to follow the ideals of the revolutionaries and was now indulging in “chamchagiri” (sychofancy) to get a foothold in the Congress.
In a statement here, Cheema said Manpreet had by his actions proved that he was ready to demean himself to win the favour of Amarinder.
“What else can explain the downright humiliating and abject surrender of all ethics and morals by Manpreet in announcing that the Punjab Congress was being led by a clean Amarinder. Manpreet needs to tell the people why he had never been able to see the clean in Amarinder earlier. Is it because you have now decided to dye yourself in the Congress culture of chamchagiri,” Cheema said.
