Mehta demands renovation of suvidha centers at sub zones

Mehta said MC had floated tenders for the construction of new areas for these suvidha centers, but no contractor turned up knowing the financial condition of the MC.

Mehta said MC had floated tenders for the construction of new areas for these suvidha centers, but no contractor turned up knowing the financial condition of the MC.

“There is a building of sub registrar at Transport Nagar, which is actually a property of MC. The corporation can take the building back and use it for its own purpose, including suvidha centres,” she said.

She also said the office of food supplies on the top floor of the Zone-D building of the MC could also be shifted and brought to the use of the corporation officials.

She demanded that restaurants on the top floor of the multi-level parking near the Zone-A office should be constructed and given to any private player so that the MC gets an income out of it.
