Minor abducted, gangraped for four days in Amritsar
Victim was found lying near a petrol pump at Chamiyari-Khanowal road near Amritsar.
Four people were booked on Tuesday for allegedly abducting and raping a 14-year-old girl. The accused are Raman, his brother Rubi, Sukhdev Singh of Chamiyari village, falls under Ajnala police station and Randeep Singh of Galab village, falls under Ramdas police station.

In his complaint, victim’s father, of Chamiyari village said, “My daughter went to Senior Secondary School on July 27 but did not return. We searched for her but in vain.”
“On July 30, accused Sukhdev Singh called me and said my daughter was lying near petrol pump at Chamiyari-Khanowal road. On reaching there, I found my daughter unconscious,” He said.
He said, “My daughter told me that while she was returning from school on July 27, the accused kidnapped her in their Mohindra Scorpio SUV and took her to unknown location where they raped her one by one.”
Assistant sub inspector Narpinder Singh said a case has been registered under Sections 363 (kidnapping), 366 (kidnapping, abducting or inducing woman to compel her marriage, etc), 376 (rape), 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 4, 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
He said, “Medical of the girl was conducted from Ajnala Civil hospital and the reports are awaited. Efforts are being made to nab the absconding accused.”
