As soon as Sukhbir arrived at the venue, police hardly had any control over the crowd as party workers jammed Badal’s movement.

He immediately called the police commissioner and asked him to get things under control so that he could get some space to move. The police acted swiftly and pushed away the workers and other people.

Some councillors and Bharatiya Janata Party workers were pushed. Some party workers were also seen talking to the media, complaining about the police’s attitude.
