No candidate has filed nominationpapers today for contesting bypolls to Talwandi Sabo and Patiala Assembly seats in Punjab, a senior official said.

No candidate has filed nominationpapers today for contesting bypolls to Talwandi Sabo and Patiala Assembly seats in Punjab, a senior official said.
"Candidates can file their nomination papers before the Sub-Divisional Magistrate-cum-Returning Officers concerned between 11 am to 3 pm till August 2," a release quoting Punjab Chief Electoral Officer V K Singh here said.
Bypolls to Talwandi Sabo and Patiala Assembly seats in Punjab will be held on August 21.

Patiala Assembly seat was vacated by Amarinder Singh afterhe was elected to the Lok Sabha from Amritsar, defeating BJP leader Arun Jaitley.
