Smart City consultation-cum-grievance reddressal camp held on Tuesday at Sector-35 community centre failed to garner response as only 12 people turned up for the camp held for residents of Sector 34, 35 and 44.

Earlier the camp, which was scheduled on September 24, was cancelled as residents who reached the venue in large numbers had boycotted as the officers failed to reach on time. A resident who attended the camp said people have lost their interest in the camps as the authorities concerned have not solved any of our problems. Also, no officer from the Chandigarh administration was present at the camp on Tuesday. It has just become a show of the civic body, he said.

Among 12 present during the camp included area councillor Harjinder Kaur, nominated councillor Major DS Sandhu, president of the resident welfare association of Sector 35, Air Marshall Randhir Singh (retd) and president of resident welfare association of the Sector 34, Col DS Cheema (retd) and two representatives from the residents welfare associations of Sector 44.

Earlier in the camps held in various parts of the city, at least around 100 used to participate.
