Pak spy jailed for 14 years

He had been living in Jalandhar's Randhawa Masanda village under the assumed name of Thakur Amardas for four years before being arrested in August 2010.

During interrogation, Alam told the police that he was being trained by Pakistani agencies and had passed on pictures of government offices, ROBs, Bhakhra Dam and the cantonment area across to agencies across the border. Other sensitive documents had also been recovered from him.

He had procured fake identity proofs like a driving licence, passport, PAN card during his stay in India. He has also been fined Rs 16,000.
