Deputy superintendent of police Harvinder Singh Virk said as per Bhola, he had differences with the accused over the committee membership.

On Bhola's statement, the police have registered case against four persons including Billu on charges of attempt to murder.

As per information, the incident occurred at the local guga mari mandir when Bhola was allegedly overpowered by four of the accused in mandir premises.

The police said the accused allegedly took out Bhola's pistol from his car and started firing indiscriminately. One of the bullets pierced Bhola's leg.

However, Virk said Billu intentionally inflicted a blunt cut on his body to show that Bhola had attacked him first. The other accused have been identified as Mintu, Kaka Singh and Minta.
