A video of a woman and her husband thrashing a gas agency worker went viral on the social media on Friday, a day after the worker harassed the woman when she had called the gas agency to book a cylinder.

The woman said she had called the gas agency when Gagandeep Singh attended the call and started misbehaving with her.

According to the woman, Singh started talking vulgar to her despite her telling that she was married. She said, while she ignored his comments and inquired about the cylinder, Singh passed more lewd remarks.

According to police, the woman narrated the story to her family members who tricked the gas agency worker into meeting her and then thrashed him in full public view.

High drama was witnessed near Sabzi Mandi as the woman and her husband thrashed the worker and took him to the police station where Gagan confessed to his crime and apologised to the woman.

Later, both the parties entered into a compromise.
