Pbi varsity to honour Navneet tomorrow

Punjabi University's Centre for Advanced Media Studies (CAMS) will hold a special function to honour its student, the Pond's Femina Miss India, 2013, Navneet Kaur Dhillon, at Kala Bhawan at 4.30 pm on Friday.

Vice-chancellor Jaspal Singh will preside over the felicitation ceremony in the presence of Navneet's parents, relatives, university teachers, staff and students.

Some important announcements are also likely to be made on the occasion. A special supplement on Navneet, being published by CAMS, will also be released by the vice-chancellor.

CAMS director Gurmeet Maan said three short films, shot by the students of CAMS, in which Navneet has played lead roles will be shown during the function. These films are: 'Choice', 'Ek Navi Swer' and 'Dhi Rani'.

Navneet will also share her experiences and the journey till she realised her dream.
