Terming it an expression of the Congress’ frustration over public support for AAP during parliamentary elections, Phoolka challenged him to name a leader in the Congress who could match the work done by Dr Dharamvira Gandhi and professor Sadhu Singh. He said that, for almost 40 years, Dr Gandhi and professor Singh had been providing free medical services and tuitions to the needy. “I think Captain Amarinder Singh will label me as a Naxalite as well, as I have been in prison during the student agitation in 1972,” added Phoolka.

The Supreme Court lawyer also said that the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the Congress were scared and were resorting to baseless allegations against the AAP.
