Monday was the second deadline given to the police. Now, the panel has asked the district administration and the police to send a report on Tuesday.
Panel director Raj Kumar said, "We have given another day to the police to give a report on the issue, on the deputy commissioner's request."
An official said, "How can we send an ATR to the commission as the police have not yet arrested any accused. There has been no progress apart from the booking of the accused."
"If even a single arrest had been made, we would have sent an ATR," he said adding that only Rs 3 lakh had been given to the family as compensation.
Speaking with Hindustan Times, SP (H) Lakhwinder Pal Singh Khaira said, "Police teams have been sent to neighbouring states to arrest the accused. We have some clue that they are hiding there."
