Police order followers to vacate ashram

The followers of self-styled godman Rampal gathered at Satlok Ashram have been asked to vacate the place so that the police could execute the Punjab and Haryana High Court non-bailable warrant against him.

The followers of self-styled godman Rampal gathered at Satlok Ashram have been asked to vacate the place so that the police could execute the Punjab and Haryana High Court non-bailable warrant against him.

Hisar deputy commissioner ML Kaushik said here on Monday that the followers of Rampal had been warned not to obstruct the law.

"The followers who will come out peacefully will be provided with transport to reach the railway station and bus stand. If they face any problem, they can contact the Barwala police at 01693-242031 or the station house officer (SHO) concerned on his mobile-phone number 88140-11312," the DC added.
