Powergrid hands over ambulance to GMC

S K Sharma, executive director, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (Powergrid), northern region-II, handed over an ambulance to Government Medical College, Patiala, at a function held at 400/220 kv substation of Powergrid here on Saturday.

SK Sharma, executive director, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (Powergrid), northern region-II, handed over an ambulance to Government Medical College, Patiala, at a function held at 400/220 kv substation of Powergrid here on Saturday.

Dr K D Singh, principal, Government Medical College, received the ambulance from the Powergrid. Under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, Powergrid will be donating 28 such ambulances to various government hospitals across the country.


SK Sharma highlighted various CSR activities being undertaken by the Powergrid on the oaacsion and stressed on the fact that CSR activities by Powergrid are the manifestation of its commitment to a better future for all and helping the nation in building a sustained and self-dependent social structure.
