President cancels Mandi visit due to inclement weather

President Pranab Muherjee cancelled his scheduled visit to Indian Institute of Technology at Mandi, Himachal Pradesh on Sunday due to inclement weather. The president was to attend the second convocation of the institute. Earlier, the president altered his plan and visited the Baglamukhi Temple in Bankhandi, 42 kilometres from district headquarter Dharamsala. The president's chopper couldn't make a landing due to heavy rainfall in Mandi in the morning.

Mukherjee would now fly back to Delhi.
