President of the Dal Lakhwinder said they would not allow the movie to be screened in the city, as it had scenes that hurt religious sentiments of Hindus.

Earlier on Friday, following a protest superintendent police (city) Daljeet Singh Rana made leaders of the group watch the movie and asked them to point out their objections on scenes so that those could be omitted from the movie.

“Despite the assurances from the authorities, no objectionable scenes were removed from the movie, which was the reason why the group had further intensified their agitations,” said Lakhwinder.
“The group would continue with their agitation till the movie was not removed from the theatres,” he added.
