Protest held against delay in 'one rank, one pension'

Around 200 members of the Ex-servicemen Welfare Committee took out a protest march against the Union government for delay in implementing the 'one-rank, one pension' scheme.

Around 200 members of the Ex-servicemen Welfare Committee took out a protest march against the Union government for delay in implementing the 'one-rank, one pension' scheme.

The protest march, which started from Nehru Garden passed through various parts of the city. The protesters raised slogans against the Union government for delaying the scheme without any reason.


The protest march was led by Nathu Ram Mattu, president of the committee. Nathu Ram said that the due to the central Government delay in fulfilling their demand despite the assurance given by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, have forced thousands and thousands members of ex servicemen committee to come out on roads or sitting on the chain hunger strike throughout country.
