The activists alleged that the zonal commissioner had failed to take require steps to recover the pending dues of house tax and property tax from a mall on Ferozepur Road.

RTI activist Arvind Sharma alleged that an inquiry should be marked into the matter. The RTI activists said that if any corrupt practice was found, required steps should be taken.

Contacted, PS Ghuman, said, “We are working as per law. Nobody has the right to interfere in the judicial matter. The cases regarding the buildings in which people have not paid property tax are under consideration. The claims made by the activists are wrong.”
