SGPC donates Rs 10 lakh to PAU
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) donated Rs 10 lakh to Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) endowment fund on Thursday. Representative of SGPC Banta Singh, presented a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to the vice-chancellor of PAU Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon.

Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) donated Rs 10 lakh to Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) endowment fund on Thursday.
Representative of SGPC Banta Singh, presented a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to the vice-chancellor of PAU Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon.
Dhillon expressed profound gratitude to SGPC and said, the great help by SGPC to PAU will be beneficial for strengthening the farm research and transfer of technology programme.
He praised SGPC for encouraging the people to work hard and serve the society with devotion and dedication.
Dhillon said, ”There is a need to encourage youth to embrace agriculture as a profession and make vital contribution to the nation's food grain bowl.”
