According to the information,Shilpa Shetty was on the way from Amritsar to Jalandhar with her husband Raj Kundra to inaugurate a store and at around 12.30pm one of their security car met with an accident. The convoy of six Chevrolet Tavera security cars was the way when one of the car was rammed with another car Chevrolet Optra coming from the opposite side.

During arguing bouncers of actress, Shilpa Shetty started creating a ruckus and vandalised the opposite’s car. While,Shilpa Shetty left the spot after the bouncer had a clash with opposite car's driver. Mukesh Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) said that police have reached on the spot but they didn’t lodge a first information report (FIR) with the police. “Both the parties agreed for a mutual settlement and have compromised with each other,” he said.
