Summer vacation in Punjab schools from June 1

The Punjab government has announced summer vacation in all government, private, government-aided and affiliated schools from June 1 to June 30. Schools would be reopened on July 1, a spokesperson said in a press communiqué released here on Tuesday

During the vacation, non- teaching staff of the schools would remain on duty. Instructions have also been issued for all school heads to remain in contact over phone in view of the ongoing process of promotions, posting of new recruited teachers and transfers in the teaching cadre.
