Torn pages of holy book found at Tarn Taran village

The torn pages of Guru Granth Sahib were found at the gurdwara at Kot Budha village, 15 km from Patti, on Friday.

The torn pages of Guru Granth Sahib were found at the gurdwara at Kot Budha village, 15 km from Patti, on Friday. Priest Tarsem Singh spotted 35 torn pages around 6.30 pm as he began to recite ‘hukamnama’ from the scripture.

The situation in the village became tense as people gathered near the gurdwara. Deputy commissioner Balwinder Singh, SP (detective) Jagmohan Singh and Patti DSP Davinder Singh Sandhu reached the spot.
