Two Punjab cops awarded President’s Police Medal

Fourteen other police personnel will get police medals for meritorious service on the occasion of Republic Day

Two police officials of Punjab have been awarded the President’s Police Medal for distinguished service. Fourteen other police personnel will get police medals for meritorious service on the occasion of Republic Day.

Mandeep Singh, senior superintendent of police (SSP), Sangrur, and Ram Singh, sub-inspector, STF wing, have been awarded the President’s Police Medal, according to a police spokesperson.

Navjot Singh Mahal, SSP, Khanna, and Harbaj Singh, AIG, traffic, will get police medals for meritorious service.

SP (headquarters), Sangrur, Surinderpal Singh, deputy superintendent of police, 3rd Commando Battalion, Mohali, Tulsi Das, DSP, HQ, Jalandhar Rural, Balwinder Iqbal Singh, inspector, intelligence wing, Mohali, Sukhdev Singh, SI, Patiala, Mulakh Singh, SI, security wing, Sarabjit Sing, SI Sukhdev Singh, SI, Mohali, Ravinderjit Singh, ASI Kewal Singh, ASI, Mohali, Sukhjit Singh, ASI, PAP, Jalandhar, Narinderjit Singh and head constable, Sangrur, Jaswant Singh are among those awarded police medals for meritorious service.
