Village sarpanch dies in road accident
The sarpanch of Chottiyan village of Lehragaga sub division of the district was killed in a road accident on Lehra-Chottiyan road on Wednesday.

The sarpanch of Chottiyan village of Lehragaga sub division of the district was killed in a road accident on Lehra-Chottiyan road on Wednesday.
The deceased Bhan Singh (70) died on the spot as a Bolero jeep (PB 13 AB 0123) hit his motorcycle when he was on his way back from his farm.
Balwant Singh, Chottiyan police post incharge said the driver of the Bolero managed to flee the spot.
The body has been handed over to the family and police have registered a case under Section 304a of the IPC against the driver of the jeep.
