Woman constable booked for criminal intimidation
Baghapurana Police has registered a case against lady police constable posted at Moga, her husband and one other on charges of wrongful confinement, criminal intimidation for thrashing a bus conductor of a private bus.
Baghapurana Police has registered a case against lady police constable posted at Moga, her husband and one other on charges of wrongful confinement, criminal intimidation for thrashing a bus conductor of a private bus.
According to FIR registered yesterday against the three, complainant Lakhwinder Singh said the lady police constable boarded the bus at Baghapurana as daily commuter.
When the bus was about to move to Moga in the morning, an old passenger also boarded the bus. The conductor asked the lady constable to vacate the seat for the aged passenger. The lady constable did not like this.
In the evening, when the lady constable boarded the bus for Baghapurana, she called her husband and one other person on reaching Baghapurana. The conductor was thrashed by the trio and intimated to teach him a lesson.
The conductor immediately rushed to Baghapurana police station and lodged a report against the lady constable, her husband and other unidentified person.
