Youth held for 'raping' minor girl
Mandi Gobindgarh police have arrested a youth who allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl. On the statement of the girl, who is a minor and a school dropout, police on Thursday have registered a case against Sanjiv Mandal, 21, a resident of Dashmesh Colony, Mandi Gobindgarh under sections 363, 366 A, 450, 376, 506 of the IPC.

Mandi Gobindgarh police have arrested a youth who allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl.
On the statement of the girl, who is a minor and a school dropout, police on Thursday have registered a case against Sanjiv Mandal, 21, a resident of Dashmesh Colony, Mandi Gobindgarh under sections 363, 366 A, 450, 376, 506 of the IPC.
The medical examination of the girl was conducted at Civil Hospital. Sub inspector Balwinder Singh said the victim lodged a complaint with the police that youth kidnapped and raped her. The youth, who was neighbor of the girl, was presented in a Amloh court on Friday where he was remanded in judicial custody till October 11.
