BJP bigwigs follow high command’s direction, visit Yashwant in prison
On the direction of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) high command, national spokesperson of the party Shenawaz Hussain and former central minister Rajeev Pratap Rudi came to Hazaribagh and met former cabinet minister Yashwant Sinha in Hazaribagh central jail on Thursday.

After a half an hour meeting both the leaders said that they have come on the direction of the BJP high command. They said that the party’s high command is very serious about Sinha’s agitation.
Both the leaders said that after detail discussions with Sinha, they are going to Ranchi where the state level BJP core committee will discuss the issue of agitation. They said in that future strategies of the agitation will be finalized in the meeting.
It is imperative to mention that Sinha sat on a dharna along with BJP workers in front of GM Office of Electricity Board on Monday on June 2.
The protest was against the irregularities and malpractices in the department and about poor power supply conditions in and around Hazaribagh. He was sent to jail on June 3 after he refused to furnish the bail bond in the court.
