Arya will play a pivotal role in his Kannada debut film directed by Anup Bhandari.

Tamil movie star Arya’s fist look from his debut Kannada film, Rajaratha, has been released. The film will also release in Telugu as Rajaratham.

Arya will play the role of Vishwa, an important supporting character, in the film. Rangitaranga onscreen pair, Nirup Bhandari and Avantika Shetty will be playing the lead roles in the romantic comedy.

While director Anup Bhandari was successful with, Rangitharanga, which was a crime-thriller, it would be interesting to see how he would fare with a rom-com.

Arya has also worked in Malayalam films, including director Andrews Eapen’s The Great Father, which also starred Mammootty. It looks like he, who mostly portrays lead roles in Tamil films, is experimenting when it comes to working in the other industries.

After the rave reviews that Rangitaranga received, there is a lot of expectation from Anup Bhandari’s next film.

In the meantime, Arya is working on two period films. While shooting for Santhana Devan, directed by Ameer, is underway, Sanghamitra’s filming is yet to begin. Santhana Devan, will also star Arya’s brother Sathya and the music for the film is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Arya was last seen in Tamil film Kadamban.
