Jr NTR received some love from actor Ram Charan, who watched Jai Lava Kusa recently.

Jr. NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa has emerged as a blockbuster and having already grossed over Rs 130 crore, the film has won over audiences from all quarters. While the critics may have expressed mixed opinion about the film, it didn’t seem to matter to the audiences who seem to have lapped up this commercial potboiler. The latest person to fall in love with the film is none other than Ram Charan and the Magadheera star couldn’t stop gushing about the film.

After he recently watched the film, Ram Charan called Jr NTR and congratulated him on delivering another memorable film. That same evening, he invited him over for dinner and the two have been said to have had a long chat about the film among other things. A picture featuring Ram Charan and NTR, both to be seen in visibly happy mood has gone viral. In the film, by playing three diverse characters, Jr NTR won over audiences and critics alike, especially, his negative-shaded character Jai earned unanimous praise from every film goer.

Even though it was an evil character, audiences loved how NTR made it stand out with his terrific performance. At the film’s success meet, he also said the film satisfied him as an actor and that he wasn’t really bothered with the mixed response from the critics. Directed by Bobby, who has teamed up with Jr NTR for the first time, the film also stars Nivetha Thomas and Raashi Khanna. Jr NTR was seen wearing prosthetic make-up for the role of Jai, a modern-day Raavan, and he speaks with a stutter. The film marked the debut of Bollywood actor Ronit Roy, who played one of the antagonists. Produced by Kalyanram, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
