Popular for their comic timing and chemistry together, actors Mirchi Shiva and Bobby Simhaa will collaborate again for an upcoming Tamil entertainer Masala Padam.

"Shiva and Simhaa play the lead heroes in the film. Their combo is sure to attract lot of attention. It's a commercial film quite contrary to the ones that have been in Tamil before," said the film's director Laxman Kumar.

"We've already completed shooting the first schedule. The shoot is currently progressing at the Pattinampakkam beach," he said.

Southern actress Lakshmy Devy plays the female lead.

Cinematographer-turned-director Laxman is co-producing the film with his friend Vijay Raghavendar.
