Naga Chaitanya denies doing Telugu remake of 2 States

It had been speculated that real-life couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu would star in the Telugu remake of the 2014 Hindi film 2 States, starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor. The actor, however, has denied the report.

According to reports, the Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer will now have a Telugu remake, featuring Chaitanya and his wife-to-be Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Chaitanya said: “We are not doing this film. We haven’t even heard the script. So where is the question of doing it?”

2 States was an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel 2 States: The Story of My Marriage.
