Rajathandhiram 2: Ilaiyaraaja to compose the background score

Music maestro Ilaiyaraaja will compose the music for upcoming Tamil con thriller Rajathandhiram 2. The makers of the film unveiled the first six minutes of Rajathandhiram 2, the sequel to the sleeper hit of 2015 Rajathandhiram on Sunday.

Ilaiyaraaja will compose the background score and possibly a promotional song for the con thriller Rajathandhiram 2, directed by Senthil Veerasamy and produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon. (YouTube Grab)

In the six-minute footage, it was revealed that Ilaiyaraaja will compose music for the film which will be produced and directed by Senthil Veerasamy. “The film won’t have any songs. Raja sir will work on the background score and may also give us a promotional song around the release time,” said Senthil.

Starring Veera, Ajai Prasath and Darbuka Siva, the film will go on the floors in June-July and will, in all probability, hit the screens later this year.
