Kolamaavu Kokila aka CoCo starring Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Saranya Ponvannan and Jacqueline is directed by Nelson.
Nayanthara’s upcoming film Kolamaavi Kokila has been receiving a lot of attention and the trailer, especially, is being appreciated by the audience. The last song, Kalyana Vayasu, written by Sivakarthikeyan and featuring Yogi Babu, had gone viral and is still topping charts.
Following its lead, the latest song, titled Kabiskabaa - The Gibberish Song, is also being enjoyed by the audience. The song is literally made of gibberish words and the video features a group middle aged men play-acting like they are a part of a hot indie music video.
There are no hot women and gyrating bodies in this video, but instead we have men wearing brunette wigs and doing the pole dance. The lyrics of the video are nonsensical, yet enjoyable and will join the list of songs such as Pista and O Maha Zeeya. This song has a whole new take on ‘item’ numbers that are usually featured in movies to solely promote the film among audience.
Kolamaavu Kokila is about a girl from lower middle class who tries to smuggle high grade cocaine from the city to the outskirts with the help of her family. Saranya Ponvannan plays Kokila’s mother in the film and television anchor Jacqueline plays her sister. The film also stars comedian Yogi Babu as the boy who tries to woo Kokila to tie the knot with him. The movie is directed by Nelson and the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
