Vishwaroopam 2, the sequel to Kamal Haasan’s 2013’s Tamil spy thriller Vishwaroopam, is finally set for a release, the actor tweeted on Friday.

Kamal assured fans that he is personally involved to ensure that the film is cleared. But he asked all to wait for another six months as some technical and legal issues remain.

The film stars Kamal Haasan, Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekhar Kapur and Rahul Bose and is set in India, unlike the previous one which was based in the United States. Vishwaroopam 2, which has been written, directed and co-produced by Haasan, will release simultaneously in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, reports Times of India. While the film’s music is by Ghibran, the cinematography has been done by Shamdat Sainuddeen.
