Father’s Day: Google doodle pays tribute to dads and it’ll make you smile

Google too has paid tribute to dads on Father’s Day in a typically touching fashion, with a heartwarming illustration.

This Sunday, families across the world are celebrating the special bond between fathers and their children. For many, this is often done through gifts and cards. Others prefer to enjoy a meal and quality time.

Celebrated on a Sunday in mid-June, Father’s Day is the opportunity to tell your dad he is the best.

Google too has paid tribute to dads on Father’s Day in its typical fashion -- with a heartwarming illustration.

The Google doodle shows a pair of smart, huge adult shoes next to a pair of kid’s trainers. They are placed on a doormat with “Google” written on it.

Though not as dynamic as last year’s (take a look below), the two pairs of shoes look adorable together.

Mother’s Day may have been the original special day, but dads deserve a day dedicated to fussing over them as well.
