'Tom and I lost a baby'
Australian actress Nicole Kidman reveals that she had a miscarriage during her nine-year marriage to Hollywood star Tom Cruise

Australian actress Nicole Kidman has revealed that during her nine-year marriage to Hollywood star Tom Cruise she had a miscarriage.
Hollywood.com quoted her as saying: "From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. We lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. And that's when we decided we would adopt (daughter) Bella."
The miscarriage revelation has shocked people. She, however, refused to say more about her ill-fated pregnancy.
"There's a complicated background to that, given that I never speak much about many things. One day maybe that story will be told," she said.
Kidman and Cruise separated in 2000, just before their 10th wedding anniversary. Their divorce came through in 2001.
