GELSENKIRCHEN, GERMANY: Leroy Sane has travelled to England ahead of a proposed move to Premier League club Manchester City, the German winger’s side Schalke 04 have confirmed. The 20-year-old, who has not travelled with the Bundesliga club for a training camp in Austria, scored eight goals and had six assists for Schalke last season as the club finished fifth.

BLASZCZYKOWSKI JOINS WOLFSBURG

DORTMUND: Wolfsburg have signed Poland midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski from Borussia Dortmund on a three-year contract, the Bundesliga side confirmed on Monday. The 30-year-old spent last year on loan at Fiorentina and featured for Poland at Euro 2016, scoring against Ukraine and Switzerland before missing the decisive penalty in the Poles’ quarterfinal shootout defeat by Portugal.
