China's Peng Shuai defeated Uzbekistan's Agkul Amanmuradova to win the Asian Games women's singles gold on Tuesday for her second title in Guangzhou.
Peng, who had linked up with compatriot Li Na to win the women's team event, claimed a 7-5, 6-2 victory in front of a packed house at the Aoti Tennis Centre.
India's Somdev Devvarman had earlier won the men's title with a straight sets triumph over another Uzbek, top seed Denis Istomin.
