NEW DELHI: With Delhi Daredevils out of the playoffs, Delhi’ites turned out in fewer numbers for the Eliminator between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. While the presence of two Delhi players, Gautam Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan, should have attracted a crowd, the locals preferred to stay loyal to the Daredevils. Some teams had found a way out in the past. The defunct Pune Warriors used to bring in fans, most of them from the sponsors’ office.
