New Delhi Heroes paid price for poor defence as they allowed Oil India to come from behind from two-goal deficit to play out a 2-2 draw in an engrossing Group B second division I-League match here on Thursday.
The New Delhi side, coached by Nigerian Chima Okorie and owned by art house Osian's, were leading 2-0 till the first half hour only to squander the advantage and split points with their opponents from Duliajan, Assam at the Police Stadium.
High on confidence after winning the Delhi senior division league, the Heroes went one up through an Amzad Hussain goal in the seventh minute and doubled the lead three minutes later through striker Babatunde.
