LeBron James was the best player for LA Lakers in the 2023-24 season opening match against Denver Nuggets on Tuesday. Ahead of the match, he made a fashion statement with his costly looks in Louis Vuitton. The 38-year-old was in $28000 worth of Louis Vuitton getup.
Ahead of the match, James wore a collarless jacket costing $5000, pants worth $1250 and shoes having a price of $1220. Carrying some accessories to go with his look, he held a Speedy Bandouliere 40 with a price of $11000 and a briefcase costing $9500.
Sharing details about James' extravagant getup, Louis Vuitton took to X(formerly Twitter) and posted, "Courtside: LeBron James in Louis Vuitton. The acclaimed basketball player kicked off the season in a Damoflage jacket, paired with the Super Vision sunglasses and Speedy bag from the Men's Spring-Summer 2024 Collection by #PharrellWilliams."

Here is how James' fans reacted to his look, on social media platform X(formerly Twitter). Some fans gave a thumbs up to James' getup but a few revealed their disapproval.

Meanwhile, Lakers lost 107-119 to Nuggets on Tuesday. Nuggets did well to earn a big 14 points lead over Lakers at the end of first quarter. They maintained the lead even as Lakers tried to close in on the gap. For Lakers, James earned the most points with a 21-8-5 performance. For Nuggets, Nikola Jokic was the star of the match with a 29-13-11 performance.
