Thesun.co.uk reported Ronaldo saying he lashed out after the 17-year-old girl allegedly followed him and his mother in Lisbon, Portugal Sunday.
Reports suggest the girl was a fan of the Real Madrid player, but Ronaldo claims she was travelling with a paparazzi photographer who was following him and his mum Dolores. He lost his temper when he spotted the girl continually filming him while he was holidaying in Portugal's capital.
Ronaldo - who signed for Real Madrid from Manchester United for a staggering 80 million pounds - booted the windows of the car.
But he apologised for Sunday's incident, but added: "I cannot swear that if the same circumstances were repeated I would not react in the same way."
"I try to swallow it and remain indifferent. But when my mother is involved, then I'm sorry but I don't let anyone, I repeat anyone, harass her. I regret what I did, but I can't promise that I would not react in the same way again in the same circumstances," said Ronaldo.
