Instagram down for several users, people facing issues with app, feed
The social network, as well as its parent firm, is yet to acknowledge the outage or issue a statement on it.
Instagram is down for several users, including in India, with Thursday's development coming on a day when WhatsApp – both are Meta-owned services – too saw an outage, which was later restored.

According to HT Tech, the issue with Instagram is, in fact, in continuation from last night, with only 600 more people reporting problems while accessing the photo and video-sharing app.
What issues are users facing?
As per HT Tech, which cited DownDetector – a platform that tracks outages of social media apps – most users (80%) are not being able to access Instagram itself, while 17% have issues with their feed, and 3%, problems with the website. Others, meanwhile, say they can't send images to DMs.
Has Instagram/Meta said anything?
The social network, as well as its parent firm, is yet to acknowledge the outage or issue a statement on it.
