Special instructions have been given to the sub divisional officers and other officials in the areas where power lines are located. Furthermore, fire stations have also been kept on alert

Control room set up to keep vigil on black money in Haryana

A control room, with a toll-free number (1800-180-2143) and Whatsapp number (9625699297) will be operational round the clock at the Income Tax Office, Chandigarh, for receiving information/complaints for the state of Haryana

People are encouraged to call this number and furnish specific information relating to cash or other valuables suspected to be used for unduly influencing the election process. The identity of the caller will be kept confidential. (HT File)

U.P. Board orders replacing low quality CCTV cams/DVRs in exam centres by Feb 14

In an inspection, it was found that low quality and obsolete CCTV cameras/DVRs were installed in more than 500 examination centres, an official said. Sensing the intentions of the cheating mafia, board secretary Dibyakant Shukla has issued a warning to all the district school inspectors to ensure installation of good quality CCTV/DVR in such examination centres by February 14.
