Rs 891-crore smart plan to unclog Mumbai’s roads gets state nod

The state-of-the-art system will decide signal timings based on density of traffic, identify vehicles violating traffic rules and also create green corridors during emergencies.

Ignoring protests, MMRDA moves ahead with Metro Bhavan construction at Aarey Colony

The executive committee of MMRDA on Tuesday gave its approval to appoint a project management consultant for the Metro Bhavan. This will be in addition to the metro car shed at Aarey Colony.

GMDA plans to set up flood control room within five months

According to the officials, the control room would be set up at a cost of Rs 36 lakh over the next four to five months in Sector 29 where it will share office space with the Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Ltd (GMCBL).

Lok Sabha elections 2019: 1st phase turnout at 53.06% in Bihar

The four constituencies, Nawada, Gaya, Jamui and Aurangabad, witnessed 2.27% increase in voting as compared to 2014 parliamentary polls. The average polling in the first phase was 53.06%.
