DTCP carries out demolition drive against illegal vends in Sushant Lok

Licence for realty project cancelled over pending due of 22 crore

The order, issued by the director, DTCP, on December 3, was received by Gurugram officials on Wednesday. It observed that the developer had failed to pay the EDC along with interest update, with 2,294.67 lakh outstanding, as of October 10, 2020.

DTP threatened during demolition drive in Gurugram’s Sector 72A

DTCP officials said, notwithstanding the resistance, the colony and offices of property developers were demolished by the team. Criminal action would be also be taken against the violators for trying to hinder the work of government officials.

The department of town and country planning (DTCP) on Saturday removed four gates which had been erected on internal roads in DLF Phase 2 after complaints from area residents that movement was hindered due to these gates.

Buyers of affordable houses seek clarity on maintenance fee

Amrik Singh, senior town planner who chaired the meeting, told the buyers that he will take up the matter with senior officials in Chandigarh on January 24. The buyers are alleging that they are being asked to pay 2,000 to 2,500 as maintenance charges, which is against the rules.

Gurugram court refuses to stay closure of guest house operating in city’s residental area

After hearing the arguments submitted by the petitioner and the department, which pointed out that operating a guest house in a private residential colony was not allowed and was against the new rules, civil judge Antarpreet Singh declined to grant stay against the DTCP notice, DTCP counsel Arvind Sharma said.

DTCP presses for transfer of extra stamp duty

As per DTCP officials, the policy to transfer one per cent additional stamp duty was formed in 2009. This was done to provide funds to the department that would enable it to create the additional infrastructure required for allowing independent floors in individual residential plots.

Revenue dept seeks to stop registering sale deeds of plots in illegal colonies of Gurugram

Officials said they have written to revenue department officials in Gurugram and to higher authorities in their department in Chandigarh to get clear directions in this regard as the rules stipulate that for registering a sale deed for a plot, the parties must get a no-objection certificate from the DTCP.

31 Gurugram housing projects get notices over faulty rainwater harvesting
