Sero survey begins in 11 UP districts today

The Uttar Pradesh health department will begin a serological survey in 11 districts of the state, including Lucknow, from Friday to determine the prevalence of the coronavirus infection among people

Heavy rain in Noida lead to water-logging, traffic snarls; more rain likely Monday night

As per the India Meteorological Department’s update at 7.05 am, a thunderstorm with light to moderate rain would continue to occur over many places of south-west Delhi, south Delhi, west Delhi, IGI Airport, Dadri, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater-Noida, Ballabgarh, Faridabad, Gurugram, Manesar, Sohna, during the next two hours.
The police further said that waterlogging was also reported in Rani Jhansi Road, MB Road and Lal Kuan.(ANI)

UP districts may auction properties of defaulter builders to recover dues

In a virtual meeting held with the chief executive officers and vice-chairpersons of 15 development authorities on Friday, UP-Rera chairman Rajive Kumar asked the authorities to provide a list of all unsold inventories, vacant land, among others details of both completed and under-construction projects of the defaulters.
UP-Rera has so far issued nearly 2,000 recovery certificates to builders in the state, and the total amount to be recovered from defaulters is around ₹600 crore.

Noida: Covid-19 tally rises to 5,806, active cases 906
